The assistant from France's Mistral AI, Europe's most valuable AI company. Launched as Le Chat in 2024 and renamed Mistral Vibe in 2026.

Mistral is a major beneficiary of Europe's push for "digital sovereignty". Its largest public model, Mistral Large 3, was released in December 2025.
