Released as a research preview in February 2025 and generally available in May 2025. You describe what you want in plain language and it plans and makes the changes.

How to start

1. Subscribe to Claude Pro or Max
2. Install Claude Code on macOS, Linux or Windows, or use it on the web
3. Open your project folder and describe the change you want
