NotebookLM turns sources into audio discussions
Google introduces Audio Overviews based on uploaded sources.

What changed
Two synthetic hosts discuss the supplied material. At launch this was an English-only experiment; Google warned about inaccuracies and stressed that the discussion reflects the uploaded sources, not a complete account of a topic.
What this means in practice
Use an overview to orient yourself before reading a long report, then return to the original for definitions, evidence and exceptions. Keep source documents focused on the question you want to understand.
How to read the result
Fluent conversation can make weak evidence sound convincing. A source omitted from the notebook cannot be expected to appear in the discussion; listening is an entry point, not verification.
