Microsoft's new AI chip targets the datacentre power budget
Microsoft announced its own AI chip, Maia 300, to be deployed widely in its data centres next year, with the emphasis on more AI answers for the same electricity. The performance figures are Microsoft's own, and no price cuts for Copilot or other products have followed.
